MED-I-CALL is a Christian Ministry initiative of the JHM Global Missions.
Is there no balm in Gilead?
Is there no physician there?
Why then is there no healing for the wound of my people?
[Jeremiah 8:22]
We are CALLED to use FREE MOBILE MEDICAL OUTREACH TEAMS
to play a very instrumental role in reaching the unreached people groups of the world. Our teams are willing to travel for several days a week into the villages to do medical ministry and regularly hold 1-5 days medical camps in communities. The Long term goal
is to establish permanent clinics and hospitals in the areas we are sent.
Once our medical team establishes a relationship with the local authorities and people in the village/area, we follow up behind them with a group of prayer ministers, pastors, evangelists and missionaries who teach the WORD of God, build on gains already made, teach English, etc... and continue expanding the relationship through evangelism and discipleship. The ultimate goal is to improve the physical & spiritual health of the people and see indigenous churches birthed in each unreached people group in the world until the whole world hears.
We are currently working in several different villages/communities doing church planting. We gained access into these villages by offering medical services. While there, authorities warmed up to us and asked if we would return to provide further medical care and to teach English.
This provides the open door to begin a lons there no balm in Gilead?
Is there no physician there?
Why then is there no healing
for the wound of my people?
Jeremiah 8:22g-term work in each of these areas. So far, medical missions has been one of the several God given key areas to seeing new converts & whole communities open up to receive the gospel.
"It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known..." [Romans 14v20]
We are seeking ordinary people as well as doctors, surgeons, dentists, nurses, and medical students to join our medical missions mobile team. We have short-term opportunities for one month to one year and PRO-BONO career opportunities for those that want to run with this ministry on a full-time basis.
